The Kettering Tower is a skyscraper in Dayton, Ohio. The Kettering Tower was built in 1970 and currently is the tallest building in the city. Lorenz Williams Inc. is the firm who built the building. The Tower's History

The building opened for business in 1972.[3] In 2005 a New York investment firm, Kettering Tower Partners LLC, bought the Kettering Tower for $21.9 million, or $45.63 per square foot.[4] Before being named, Kettering Tower, it was then known as The Winters Bank Tower. The Kettering Tower is presently managed by a court-appointed receiver and is slated to be sold at Montgomery County Sheriff's Auction. The sheriff's appraisal came in at $16.2 million, and bidding will begin at 2/3 of the appraisal value.

Restaurants and Amenities

Located in the tower is the restaurant Michael’s of Dayton which features live jazz and various entertainment such as salsa music or reggae music.[5] Also located within the tower is The Dayton Racquet Club which offers a fitness center and business conducive dining and banquet facilities. There is also a large Chase Bank branch located on the second floor of the tower. In addition there is also a dry cleaners located on the ground floor, an optometrist, and a massage therapist is also located in the lobby on the ground floor.[6]

Current Tenants

The current tenant roster includes the offices of many prominent law firms, including Taft Stettinius & Hollister, Pickrel Schaeffer & Ebeling, Sebaly Shillito & Dyer, Rogers & Greenberg, and uber-litigator Ronald Kozar.
